A Gamble

All the aces of my life
willingly proffered to her
She had nothing to lose
I, everything to gain
cognizant of previous wounds
Inner-self demurred temerity
Effacing every doubt
letting her complete me
Took her time, had her fill
But left without a goodbye

Thank you ? :). I wouldn't dare ask you why my thoughts should not be like this but I think thoughts have some of their roots in experience, which was partly vicarious in this case. I have hardly any control on experience.

P.S Answering to your question has raised another question in my mind, is there anything like a purely original thought?. Thanks again :)

Please don't be anonymous. You were not being personal.

Blog has been the most impersonal(kind of) thing I have ever done and it's certainly open for comments. Your opinion is respected.

one should have a positive approach towards everything..... every incident have two sides. it totally depends upon a person whether to sit aside and feel sorry for oneself or standup and face the realities...
life is not what we think life is what God has chosen for us....accept it and enjoy it:)

I agree with you but from what I have observed, it takes extra ordinary patience to apply it to our lives. Reality can be at times very cruel and I don't blame humans for not being able to accept it. Certainly reaching that point would be a blessing where a person finally lets go of the carnal or animal self and completely sumbits to the divine decree.

Guess what! last year I thought about the same question:"Answering to your question has raised another question in my mind, is there anything like a purely original thought?. Thanks again"

and biology lessons from FSc came to my rescue.
Just as there is no abio-genesis (.ie, birth of living being out of nothing ), there can be no aTHOU-genesis (i.e, birth of thought out of nothing) either. Cells bud out of parent cells ; thoughts from parent thoughts. So there's nothing named as entirely ORIGINAL thought.

If I am certain about one thing, it is that I didn't pay attention to my Fsc Biology :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments.

Haha your profile picture betrays that plus the simple explanation doesn't need any profound knowledge of bio =)
